Mamos, a Greek Pilsner beer with a long brewing history, is available in a 330ml can. It features a distinctive hop aroma, rich foam, and full-bodied flavor, with an ABV of 5%. This beer was launched five years ago through a collaboration between Athenian Brewery and the Mamos family in Patras. Initially aimed at Patras and Western Greece, it quickly gained popularity for its nostalgic and unique taste based on the original recipe from the Panagis Mamos family.

In just two years, the beer’s success exceeded expectations, with 40,000 hectolitres sold by 2018, surpassing the initial target of 18,000 hectolitres. The cold market largely drove this success, aligning with the growing trend for limited production beers with local characteristics. Athenian Brewery capitalized on its distribution network, expanding Mamos’ presence across Greece in the summer of 2018. Mamos is a key investment for Athenian Brewery, with plans to introduce new products under this label in the future.
